Guadalupe in history and La Villuerca in the history of the Earth
We have breakfast in La Puebla de Guadalupe letting ourselves be captivated by streets and houses in which traditional architecture takes us back to the days of pilgrims and to so many stories of the history of Spain. We propose climbing a hill which will show us evidence of the last 600 million years of the Earth. We walk through the ecological corridor of the River Guadalupejo to the 14th-century hydraulic works of the Arca del Agua, the Chapel of El Humilladero, the geological stops of La Villuerca, and the fabulous Appalachian viewpoint. In the afternoon there is a visit to the Monasterio de Guadalupe and a guided tour of the town.
