INFORMATION AND CONTENT
The centre is in the built-up area of Cañamero and is divided into various rooms in which visitors can get to know our Geopark.
The various rooms are used to explain the most characteristic formations of the Geopark. Tourists can interact with the geological resources which they will find once they leave the Interpretation Centre, such as fossils and minerals.
TOURIST SERVICES
Entrance to the Centre is free and can be unaccompanied or with a guide. In the case of guided tours for groups a prior appointment must be made. It is possible for the guided tour to include two of the Geosites of Cañamero near the centre for organised groups.
PROGRAMME OF GUIDED TOURS
The visit includes the various rooms of the centre and ends in the audiovisual room with the showing of a 3-D video on the formation processes and the geological history of our Geopark. The audiovisual room has a capacity of 35 people; special glasses are provided for 3-D vision.
- Duration of the visit: 1 hour.
- Price: free of charge.
- Size of the groups: no maximum number has been established although if there are more than 35 visitors they will have to be divided into groups for the showing of the audiovisual.
- Accessible for people with reduced mobility.
